Evelyn Peregrin: Welcome back to catching up on Love Island with Liz and Abby. With Liz and Abby. Woohoo. ⁓ we have a lot to recap. We really do. We took and you know, it's very hard to keep up with this show or catch up with this show because there's an episode every fucking day. We both fell behind and then we were trying to ⁓ catch up this weekend, which finally we did, and my god, it got crazy.

Seriously, I've been just I've never been more like frustrated watching. Like I was very genuinely so annoyed last night. What's what's some more differences this time around that you're noticing from past like why is this frustrating? No no one is calling each other out on their shit. Like the OG people that are there are only are just supporting each other. Mm-hmm. And like no one's calling Kenzie out, no one's calling K C out, no one's calling the girls out for not even like apparently being nice to Seoul.

That's what like the vibe we got the whole time. Yeah. Yeah, there c there's opportunity for drama and it's not happening. Yeah, well I think like the OG girl, like the original people that were in there are just kind of going with the flow and like protecting each other and enabling each other. It's super yeah. It's super obvious. Why are the girls why are the girls not saying anything to Melanie when Sincere played her, played Soul, and then she's going back with him?

Why are they just not saying anything at all when it's so obvious he was lying to both of them? A hundred percent. I have in my notes too. I was like, why is Anaya playing into Melanie so intensely? It makes no sense. It's like they hype each other up instead of call each other out. I'm surprised they This is I'm surprised to hear that's not normal because that's certainly seeming normal to me. They talk about making connections, but they don't want to like rock their connection that they're in.

But I'm like, I don't understand this game then, because I don't get it. Like, then it's boring. It's boring if you guys are just like, cool, we're good. So we're, we're, we're not locked up, but like, yes, you are. You're acting locked up. You're not someone new comes in that you're interested in, yeah, but you're too scared to like that Casey shit. Casey with soul is so annoying to me. To me, that's like like, ⁓ shit, I was gonna talk to you tomorrow.

Sucks that you're going home now. It's like, shut up. You're just a little bitch and you didn't need the balls. Like I hope that he realizes what he did and then now isn't scared to talk to other people moving forward. Like sucks that Soul got got shot in the crossfire of it. But like he's the only one, I feel like, who realizes, like, ⁓ maybe we shouldn't be doing this. Like he's the only one who realized that.

And I think he realized it because he saw that Soul was upset. And like no one is actually like trying to really get to know her, girls included. That is fully the vibe that's weird when so weird. The audience is made aware that that's how Soul's feeling. It's super weird. It's kind of like, ⁓ like Well, we the audience couldn't could have done nothing to help this and we're giving no further context. This feels really jarring and a little weird.

Like it felt very weird as the audience to be like, ⁓ this person's really uncomfortable, but we have no idea why. Not really. Right, right. You know, it was weird. Like you're kind of guessing, ⁓ like you see a little bit as to why, but you are kind of guessing in the pie challenge when like she got pied multiple times for things that they very very much should have pied other people for. And she's so that was crazy.

That was crazy. And she got so upset. Not because she was pied, it's because of the fact that no one, no one took the opportunity to try to get to know her. So if they knew her, they wouldn't be pying her for these things. And like But also how why would you call someone else out who's done nothing yet there? Exactly. Other people have actively participated in or they're playing it safe. They're too scared to hurt like the people that have been there the longest feelings.

There is that. There's totally that vibe of playing it safe, which is really fucking annoying. Because like figure it out. Like we're you are there to make TV. I'm sorry to say that, but you are. And what are you doing? They're like, it's there's definitely some boring parts for sure. As annoying as Kenzie is, and as much as I dislike her. She's the one who's like exploring the different connections and she kind of played Caleb. But like also like but that's like this though.

Isn't that what we're supposed to be doing? Yes, exactly. It feels like they're gonna be playing each other, but that's what they're literally supposed to be doing. And then it's like, okay, she has to make a decision. She did at the recoupling. That's when you make the decision. There you go. She's not gonna explore Caleb anymore. To me, that felt perfect. I was like, ⁓ this is the show, cool. I actually kinda like Kenzie. Kenzie is funny to me.

She's obviously a little ditzy. Like, I don't have anything against Kenzie other than that, like she's annoying for sure. About Kenzie to me is that she like was there the whole time, but then she says to Jen, the newest bombshell, ⁓ you're my best friend. And I'm telling you this because I don't trust this person. And then she like confides in Jen because I guess she's like another blonde and feels comfortable and like you're in the villa and she was wanting Corbin and Yeah, yeah.

Fair. She's like, but but yes, no, know what you mean. I know what you mean. Yeah. That felt so fake to me, but like I want more of that. More of that fake. It's like she's like says she like her type is this cowboy wants this cowboy. But then she has this connection with Corbin. But like I appreciate that because it's like who's you gonna take her? type that she's been asking for and like saying this is her type or the person she actually is feeling a connection with.

Exactly. Corbin is cracking me up too. Like there's like certain ones I was like, ⁓ is this a personality coming out? It's that's funny. Literally I was like, ⁓ my god, who activated Corbin's personality? That's crazy. Crazy. It's like a one is born. Wait, who would you have sent home? Who would you have sent home instead of Gabe or Sol? Or like would you have sent home Gabe Did you get the girl's reasoning? So here's here's the thing with the girls' reasoning.

They had to pick someone. No one really like made sense. They had to have a reason. Like there were pros and cons for everybody. So whoever they chose, they had to back it up. So it's not that they like they couldn't have made a right or wrong choice. They it's all hard. So I don't think there was a right or wrong choice. I do think when Melanie was sending him home and she was like, Fully shitting on him.

Like ⁓ my God. And she wouldn't stop. Do you not? And she just kept going. I was she wouldn't sit at this same villa with this person for how like what, two weeks now? Melanie does too much to know him as a person. Melanie does too much. Apparently not. You still think he's a very shitty person by how you're talking about. Literally. And I will say that's definitely that's probably why the guys had such a reaction.

But like But also Gabe is a totally fine choice to send home. He has he does give off that vibe of like, yeah, I'm just gonna like make out with whoever comes in. No, he fully does. Because that's what he's done. He does seem like he has like a nice personality, but also that he's gonna make out with whoever comes in. Like he and Beya had a really nice conversation when she left. I live. It wasn't Spanish and like that was such a nice conversation.

I'm like, ⁓ there's like so much depth to his person. But I also think he's gonna make out with the next new thing that comes in. Like they're not wrong about it. Which ⁓ whatever. You know, it's not like yeah good or bad. The boys being mad at the girls for sending him home is so dumb. I got that's what made me the angriest. I agree. I th I was like this is not the drama I wanna see.

This is really stupid. So th it was so dumb because again, there's no right decision. They're acting like the girls made the wrong decision. There is no wrong decision. There is no right decision. It's the decision that they made And then they're saying that they should have who are they s they should have sent Caleb home and they're talking about how they wanted to send Jen on the But basically like the reason they sent Seoul was the same exact reason the girls sent the or whatever.

They I forget exactly what the boy was. They said they wanted people who are inactive couples, they stayed. And people and Jen and Caleb were just put together out of chance. They didn't choose each other or whatever. Yeah, but also they deserve a spot to get like they deserve a shot. They deserve that. And Gabe did have a good shot. Yeah. Like again, there's a I don't know. I think, yeah, exactly. I don't know. I don't know why.

I think I also maybe would have sent Jen home because Soul got fucked over by Sincere. Also Casey, the boy like Casey was kind of interested in her. Yeah. So like but didn't pursue it at all. So she should have stayed to maybe have that. And then yeah, Jen had a connection with Gabe because America put them together, not because she like tried to make the connection. So yeah. Like you said, there's no wrong answer. But it was just like that was like almost frustrating.

I was like, this isn't even fun. No, the way the boys were coming at the girls was Yeah. That comment about you might not get breakfast tomorrow. I was like, ⁓ we riot at dawn. Like that's crazy. We riot at dawn. Who are you to hold breakfast over our heads? Literally. And I was glad that Trinity was like, Okay, so you're gonna see a new side of me today. I know. Trinity continues the best. She is my absolute favorite.

Zero whole Easy. Like, yes, easy. Easy. Even like the random comments. I've tried butt stuff. That shouldn't hurt. She's so funny. She's so funny. She's beautiful. She's funny. She's the whole package. I don't really like her embrace. Was it the winter solstice? What what brought this around? Even her embrace are kind of growing on me. They like I didn't find them interesting. I found them boring. But now I'm like now they've had like a few conversations where I'm like, ⁓ my gosh, I do see this.

I see this. I like it. I like their conversations with each other. I think they have good insights about other people. I agree. I I I would listen to their podcast about this. They have good gossip. They have good gossip. I f what was like the whole beef with Bryce and KC? I feel like Bryce kind of called KC out about not pursuing soul. For a second. Did he ⁓ yeah. I think he did that just in the last episode, right?

When they were doing the balloons. Good. We're finally seeing like some turbulence a little bit. Yes. And you guys can't just be reactions to all of it is so annoying. Let's But also like I guess we're driving the train forward, so that's good, I guess. Let's talk about Anaya. Let's talk about Anaya. She was she was my my favorite for most of this season so far. Just because I mean, number one, she's beautiful. Her and KC had a very strong connection.

But yeah, right now, I don't know, she's pissing me off. So here's the thing that is annoying. Mm-hmm. Is she has said to KC, if you want to explore, explore. I don't want to be the safe option. I don't want to be holding you back. When he does have a conversation with Soul, she goes to interrupt it. And then she also, with her body language and her words, makes it clear that she's very upset. And that like Casey is hurting her personally by talking to other people.

Yet she doesn't want to be the safe option and she doesn't want him to like fall back on her. So you're making it really hard to be both. Like he can't choose you full like you she when he does choose her, he's he says, I don't want to leave something good to to experiment or yeah with soul then she doesn't want to feel like a safe option. Then they are playing it safe. They are spade. Yeah.

And you have to call a spade a spade. And she's not realizing that. She's not realizing that. Like she has to let him explore then without like the conversation about it. She needs to go explore. She needs to go explore. I need someone to come in that interests. When her and KC were having their like conversations that led nowhere and left everyone very frustrated, it did feel like KC didn't fully understand what was going on either.

Like he was very much like Saying the wrong things, not understanding what was going on, being twenty-three, again, they're being twenty-three. And ⁓ that was annoying because I first it felt like they were like telling each other the wrong things and hearing the wrong things over and over again. But her takeaways were were very different. They were horrible. They both had like the wrong idea about everything. Yeah, and Naya comes back from the conversation talking To Melanie about how she doesn't want to feel like the safe option, and that's what they talked about.

KC is talking to his friends about their conversation, saying that she wants h him to be serious. I'm like, you're not saying the same things. You're not even understanding the same things from the same conversation. And you don't even want him to be serious. She's like, I'm gonna be serious for five minutes. Exactly. The point was missed on both ends by a loss. Yes. But I think Anai's not doing herself any favors by interrupting any h conversation he has.

No, I completely agree. And she kind of like Flies under the radar as this like, I think like steady state kind of person. But really she's also she's pulling Mel Melanie moves by doing that. She's just doing it really low key. She's not as dramatic and she's not as dramatic and subtle. Yeah. Yeah. What did you think of are we good with an idea when we move on to Melanie? We can move on to Melanie. What do you think of her sleeping in soul ties?

⁓ my God. I wrote that down. I was like, Melanie, come on, girl. I said, fair play, Corbin. Yeah, I guess you can do whatever you want. Literally. Literally. She I was like, well, number one, she's not over shit. She's like, I'm over it. I'm over it. Thank you for freeing me. I'm like, yeah, but you're sleeping outside with the bugs? Are you kidding me? Who in the right mind is sleeping outside in Fiji? I mean, I don't know about Fiji.

Maybe Fiji is like really nice to sleep outside with no tent. Doubt. But like, I doubt it. Maybe. In a tropical environment. Here's what I think she did it for. She did it so that if and when eventually she got back was sincere, she would have something to be like, I did this for you. I still liked you the whole time. Like I didn't even sleep with Corbin. And that's a red flag. Such a red flag.

Yeah. Like And Anaya went out there every morning and like hugged her and like brought Like they're I liked it at first, but I'm s it's toxic now. I'm sorry. You're just enabling each other. Guys, guys, who have Melanie and Sincere, like the leaders of the Seriously? Sincere is so annoying. If he gives me one more metaphor, I'm going to scream. It's so bad. I really was try like the very beginning, first couple episodes, I was like very much trying to root for Sincere, and I can't stand to look at him now.

The 180. Anytime he's on my screen, I just want to yell, shut the fuck, shut up. And I do. And I do yell at. No, I never liked him. I really like ⁓ I wanted to. And I tried to. And I and that's good. And I liked KC from the start. And I'm starting to not. He's really pissing me off too. I KC did piss me off. And then when he talked to Sola, she was leaving.

And he's like realizing that them not talking to any bombshells and closing them off is just hurts them. I'm like, okay. I think you're you're starting to get it a little bit. That's what he's starting to get. Then I then I'm okay with that. But I was just wasn't sure if playing or not. I didn't know if that was like his ego, you know what I mean? Right, right, right. I hope it's like I hope that's a promising realization for the future.

I would that would be super fun. I would like some more people now. Now I'm like Get some more people in here. Because it does get boring when everyone's coupled up. I'm like, this is annoying. Like I've never seen it before, right? No. Never seen it before. Okay. Okay. Cool. Yeah. Wait, what is Yeah, wait, what does this cause more thing? You'll see. Okay. Is that gonna happen tonight? I think so. ⁓ my god. It was T says tonight.

I know. You'll see, you'll see. ⁓ what was I gonna say? ⁓ when soul first of all. People knew Sincere wasn't being honest. Jen, I was like really liking Jen because she clocked it from the beginning. She never liked him. She said, You might be sincere, but you're not honest from the start. Boom. Pie to the face. Then S ⁓ Sincere writes his letter to Melanie, leaves Soul in the dust after telling Soul that's who he wants to pursue.

Straight up, I wanna pursue this. No, he did her so dirty. He did her so dirty. So Jen is calling him out. Like Jen knows this. And like, okay, good. You're seeing through the bullshit. No one else is, especially not Melanie. Then Soul goes to confront him, and I was like, okay, this is the best it could have gone. The switch up though from Sincere, anytime he and Soul talked and They're like cuddling, holding each other's faces, so touching in their body language.

Literally, Liz. Yes. He she's calling him out. He can't even look her in the goddamn eyes. Can't even look her in the eyes. Yeah, you're right. You're right. Deflect, deflect, deflect. And then goes to, you're not an angel either. What? This is what I'm ready to show. This is not the issue you're talking about. You're just bringing up something different, but not even anything different. Like, what do you mean? Like, what could you possibly mean by that?

⁓ and soul wasn't having it, thank God. Thank God. She was a b she was a bad bitch, but also I didn't I didn't love her personality. I'm not sad she's gone. Like she didn't really she was stunning and I enjoyed I enjoyed that aspect. She was absolutely stunning. But like sh whenever she like would have conversations, it would just like rub me the wrong way. I don't know why. I think she had a very interesting energy about her, but I also think that we didn't see the best of her in the slightest.

Yeah. That's fair. I think sure she probably had conversations that we didn't see. But like clearly the girls were excluding her. Like Melanie Pinky promises to Keda ⁓ that they kissed or something like that. She won't tell that they're kissed. And then Sol walks in on it and they immediately like stop talking and da da da. Like that's a shitty feeling. Anyone in that everyone in the villa is in on it. But so like they all have known each other for two weeks now and no one's trying to like be her friends.

Yeah. Except for apparently Kenzie. And then when she gets kicked out, Kenzie's nowhere to be seen. It's only Jen helping her pack. Whereas anyone else that gets kicked out, all the girls go. That is a good point. What is that? I don't understand. They didn't like her. Like I don't I They didn't like her. I'm not saying that like she's this like amazing person. We also as viewers didn't get to see much of her. I just like I could see how like sad she was.

And I'm like, this is not how it's supposed to be. And it makes me feel really bad. Damn. Like that's not normal for there to be like some bombshells who just like miss on vibes? Not really. Like yeah, there's drama with bombshells, but eventually they like all, you know, get to know each other. Like they did before. Like Yeah. Yeah. Kata, Gabe. Right. Interesting. I know. Are you sad that Gabe is gone at all or no?

No, I don't I don't really miss him. Like he was like a fun bombshell, kissed everyone but No, we'dn't wouldn't really miss him. I will not miss his kisses. They just were so ⁓ at this point I'm like, get this tongue out of my face. Literally. Like stop it with the tongue. Why is everyone the leather tracksuit was crazy? It w Connor was like, How do I get me one of those? Of course he was. Of course he was.

Connor, that's the last thing you want be wearing on an island. Literally. He'd be sweating so much. ⁓ Yeah, I won't miss him too much. But yeah, it is crazy when they leave because like even I can like feel the difference, the change in the energy. Because like he was there a while, not from the start, but a while. A while. That's the other thing though. This whole like their relationships feel like they've been it together three times as long as they have at least.

Well, I mean it I'm sure because yeah, it's hyper in the same room at night, they're sharing the same bathroom, they're getting ready together. There's no other social interaction except when Ariana comes in. It's a literally just them. The cameras are hidden. I guess they're talking to producers. That's crazy. Yeah. That's true. But like that's their only dose of like reality. And even then, they're talking about the villa and each other. It's kind of a nightmare.

Yeah. It's like a it doesn't sound fantastic. Fantastical world. I just feel like, yeah, when does it start to wear off a little bit where they're like Okay, I'm about to become someone I've never been before. Yeah, I don't know. Like that's a little scary. A little scary. But that's why we can't like like people are you know, viewers sending sending them like death threats and shit. Like that's like get a grip of of of yourself.

⁓ my god. Yeah, like they get bullied so hard some of them when they come out and it's insane. Horrifying. Sad. Leave them alone. Or giving you entertainment, exactly. ⁓ what do you think of Bryce and Zach? It is funny. Zach, I expected him to be an asshole. And then I feel like him and Keda together have surprised me where I'm like, Okay, I see. I I like your energy here. You're kind of like a lover boy, as they would say.

And then, ⁓ but then with the whole breakfast thing, I'm like, ⁓ you pissed me off, Zach. I hate you. There he I like them until I don't. Yeah, exactly. There's something upset. There's something in the back of my head with him always from like he can flip on a dime. He can't be trusted. The first inkling of it was when he pied soul and then she got upset. And then he was upset, being like, Of course it was like the one the pie I threw.

I'm like, just go soul apologize and console soul. It's not about you. Literally, where was your apology? Exactly. What are we even doing? Like he might have mentioned something, but like Like, yeah, you feel bad. It was like the but he's like making it about him. Of course it was the one I threw. It wasn't because you threw it. It's because everyone was like, you know what I mean? Like go and consume the point. It's not about you.

Yes. Not about you. And then when he's made that comment about breakfast, is it was just like the whole mentality of we're right and you're wrong. Yeah. And the boys as a whole, even sincere things. If that felt like We followed your logic. You done this. Shut up. Yeah. Sure, you would have. And then like that's And guess what? That would been fine. Yeah. That would have been fine. Exactly. Okay. Since you're saying something about like they have to like root like the girls all bullshitting over there.

And you're like, shut the fuck up, since they don't deserve his connection. I just It's so bad. His even in his letter, even in his letter to Melanie The amount of analogies was like there was like four or five in there and I was like or metaphors or whatever. I was like, you have to be stopped. Like this can go on no longer. This is so bad. The other red flag with Zach is that all of a sudden, and again, I know the producers are like showing us things at certain times, but whatever.

But like all of a sudden, when they get to go to that suite or whatever, and he's like, like Kate is all about sex and he's like obviously wants to have sex. But then he's like, but what about when more bombshells come in? What about when more bombshells come in? He just kept saying it at such weird times where I was like, and Kada was like, What? Like, stop saying that. Or like, we're not gonna you know what I mean?

I was like, I just Like clearly that's in the back of your mind still. Exactly. There's always the possibility of him. Yeah. It just seems like I was like, ⁓ so like are you are you sincering her? Are you like saying one thing and meaning another? What's going on? Mm-hmm. It's like he doesn't want to get too far because then it will look bad if he pursued a bombshell. Is that what it's he's always thinking about the image.

Yes. Always thinking about his own image. Yeah. Which is super self-serving, which is weird. Yeah, I I agree with that. It's like hidden well, but it comes out at moments. It's hidden well, yeah. Yeah. ⁓ huh. There was like the whole fairy tale challenge. There was the soccer ball challenge, which the eating of the hot dogs made me want to throw up. Yeah, disgusting. Disgusting. That was unnecessary. That and then like the fucking toe sucking. Like that's unnecessary.

What the f I literally would have to like close my eyes. Again, like you're trying on the slipper and you're trying to hypersexualize it. You do it on your one couple. But then I after like the first person went, I was like, ⁓ my God, they're doing it on every single girl. And like who told them to do that? And then making out with them. That's crazy. That's disgusting. Disgusting. I'm sorry. And there's like slime everywhere.

Yeah. That's gross. ⁓ We have no germophobes among us? This is nasty. I agree. And then Zach was upset that Caleb kissed Cada. Meanwhile, he literally said to Caleb, Make sure you explore. He's like, Pull Cada, pull Cada. He does that. And then Zach gets insecure and Zach is insecure. Yeah. I what do you think? I do think Caleb and Cada would be a fun exploration. I agree. I think that would be good for the entire show.

And Keda knows it. Yeah. And she likes Caleb. I've been with you too long. And she said, Caleb, you're fun. You're flirty. Yeah. Let's flirt. Let's flirt. Great. Thank you. Let's flirt. Let's flirt. Everyone should get to flip We do. 'Cause it's getting annoying. Who do you want to flirt with each other? Okay, okay. When America ⁓ who do I want to flirt with each other? Let's come back to that. When America put Caleb and Kenzie together, Corbin and Melanie, and then Soul and Sincere.

They're acting like they got coupled up. So like Sincere and Melanie didn't even talk to each other for so long. It's like I have to this is over now. I have to explore this. America chose. Okay, shut the fuck up. You're not a victim. Like he's right there. Talking He's literally right there. Don't fucking sleep in soul ties to like what? Have Sincere like notice and go sleep with you? Like The most pick me energy I've ever seen.

Yeah, definitely. But also like you're not broken up. You were like you don't have to exclusively be in this couple. You can still look at Kenzie and Corbin. Hello. That's why that's what I appreciate about Kenzie that people are hating on Kenzie for doing that. I'm like, she still loved the show. Yeah. Exactly. Like Caleb. Well that was the end. She re she chose at the recoupling. I feel like that's what you're supposed to do. Explore people, you get to the recoupling, and then you have to make a decision.

I totally agree. Like I would watch ten of Kenzie's doing what Kenzie did. Yeah. ⁓ and then isn't that like wasn't that like the cliffhanger of the last episode was what's her name calling Kenzie or no, was Trinity telling Kenzie that the guys said they were gonna kick her out because of how she'd been acting. But like that. That's but that's why the that's why the girls' kids gave out in a way. And like they it just like They they both came at it for different reasons and the reasons don't matter.

In the end, they had to kick someone out. Except and they both chose a reason to kick someone out. I don't think Kenzie then they should have kicked out Sincere. Like what? I know w why was Sincere in the top? Literally, it's stupid. He's the worst. I think because people are rooting for Melanie and like Melanie. So it's not Sincere that's in the top, it's Melanie, which like sure people can whatever. I don't like her. I don't I don't like her.

Neither does she fine. Like I I think she's okay. But like she needs to be called out on her shit or I can't deal with it. Yes. And the one time she got called out on her shit, she went and cried. Yeah. I need ten. I need ten. Give me I need fucking ten. Yeah, we need Beya back. We need Bea back. Like I thought, everything has fallen apart. Wait, when Melanie here's wait, I have a question.

Are they not drinking on this show? Or do they get like a little wine at night? I think they get a little wine at night. Which is so funny. I know. That's like a social experiment. Like at night the wine is released. And the only reason which I can like see it in their glasses, but I don't think they have that much. I think I I think it's very controlled. Which makes sense because you have way too many liabilities.

If you're hap you're like forcing people to sleep in the same bed or not forcing, but that's suggested. You're gonna have way too much liability if you include alcohol. ⁓ but I think it's funny because when Melanie does get very upset, she's the only one who feels she's definitely a lightweight. Like she's definitely like tipsy. Like I can just she has she gives that energy of like a tipsy drunk person who'd like that was a drunk cry.

But I just yeah. I was like, this is There's been wine. I forgot Bryce is attractive at all. I think he's really unattractive. I think he's really unattractive too. Also, like Zach is attracted to him. You think? Maybe. But one thing, Zach was like hanging up something. Did you see this? And I think it was Bryce, or it could have been vice versa. But Bryce came behind him. Zach was shirtless and he hugged him from behind and then gave him a little kiss on the shoulder and like held him there.

Melanie, but like again, that was so performative. ⁓ And what Melody's going back and forth between Sincere and Corbin. And then this is where I appreciated K Casey was talking to the next day. I had to make sure he goes, Don't he's like, No, no, no. No, he getting his exact wordage. He was like two very different men. He's like he's like, Don't play with me. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You knew. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Which like and then he got She just kinda giggled. Yeah. Exactly. She goes and she's like, Okay, maybe it was a lie. Like, thank you. There's Yeah, I did too much. I did too much. Someone calling someone else out.

Seriously. We need more of that. Yeah. That's what's frustrating. It is frustrating. I need this. I would love to see I would love to see Anaya call Melanie out instead of enable her. Because Anaya knows. I feel like like Anaya's smart. She wouldn't do what she's doing. Yes, I agree. Well, except that she kind of does a little bit. ⁓ yeah. Yeah. Whatever. But I would like that. I think that would just that would just be like if they could flirt, that'd be great. I don't think they'd like have a connection per se. Yeah, I don't know. I wanna see Trinity flirt with someone. I don't know about anyone in the villa, but I want someone to come in. Yes. And like Trinity be very interested. I'm excited for this Casa Amor. Like I don't I want the I want Okay, I'll tell you what. Can Drive tell you what it is? I do. Yeah. Basically, the boys usually it's the boys that leave, but or s one or the other. Mm-hmm. And say the boys leave the villa and go to Casa Amor, where there's just all bombshells.

And then all bombshells come into the villa. So the boys and girls are separated from each other. ⁓ my God. Wait, this is awesome. Yeah. ⁓ my god. Sometimes what happens is like couples are so closed off that like they like what what happened to a soul? It's like no one like really gets to know the bombshells. But I'm like, no, everyone needs to broaden their horizon. Every single person needs to. Every single person needs to.

And No one has said they're closed off yet. Literally no one has said it. Yeah. Yeah. So everyone should and needs to. Wait, how many episodes do we normally get? Like we're in episode sixteen. We're about to get seventeen tonight. It's a great question. Like we're not even halfway through, right? I don't know. And like how many couples do we normally end up with? About like like it's always like the same number of couples inside the villa.

⁓ okay. Usually. ⁓ eight week. ⁓ Love Island USA runs for six weeks. Okay. I've heard differences between US and UK, where UK the challenges are more like drama stirring. Like you know how in the US they have like all the questions and they have to like pick someone? Like the UK is more of that and less just making out. Which I'm like I would like like the makeouts in the challenges sometimes are like you see who decides to kiss who.

Like in this last one was interesting because it was like, okay, Anaya chose to make out with was it sincere? I think it was. Wait. In the challenge. Yeah. Cause like you can either like not like I think she did both. Did she do both? She did both. Whatever. You could choose to kiss them or not. And they all chose to kiss, which I was like, okay, that's like interesting who who people are choosing for each other and and everything.

Yeah. Like so it it wasn't just like everyone was making out with everyone. Which is so much better. And I think the UK is more like that and also more questions. Interesting. Which that's where the drama comes from. And that's where people are starting like we need more of that 'cause that leads people to calling each other out. Yeah. So anyway, I'm excited to keep watching, even though it's like so frustrating. As long as we don't fall behind as much as we did, which maybe we will, but yeah.

That was crazy. That was crazy. What were they think? That was this is Evie's first time watching. Just to what'd you think of Casa and War, finding out what it is, and the heart rate challenge? I texted you, I was like, you got both in the same episode. That's insane. I really one of my favorite things about starting to watch this show is that everyone seems to know what all these challenges are and they're all callbacks and they all kind of like get the audience hyped up, which is very fun.

I really like that. The fact that you know what the heart rate challenge was was fun. I was like, cause they all like erupted into cheers and I was like, What is it? Someone tell me. What's going on? I think they did it. Like normally they wear actual heart rate monitors and it's like you see which boy or girl gets which other boy or girl's heart rate up highest. ⁓ that's really fun. But they obviously they're going to cost them more, so I don't think they actually put the It wasn't a real heart rate challenge.

Right. Exactly. Sadly. ⁓ I thought it was hilarious that Kenzie wanted to dance so badly and like literally was watching the girls and was like, I could see I could dance better than her. I was like, that's so fucking funny. Okay. I thought it was awesome because, like we said in our past recaps, go check it out. ⁓ like they needed something to shake up this house. But watching the girls watch that was brutal. Like it broke my heart for them.

They were so sad. I am so brutal to watch. Felt for the girls, but I'm so glad they showed the girls because I need the girls to forget everything, to forget all about those guys. That's right. And they wouldn't have done that, I don't think, if they hadn't seen the guys. Totally agree. Heart rate challenge. At first I was like, ⁓ my gosh, they're riling on them up so much. I was like, they better get some boys in their stat because these girls are ready to like explore.

And I'm like, that's good. That's what we need. And then once they were like, Once it was obvious they weren't bringing anyone else in, it was a little disappointing. I was like, you know what? This is very smart because they now they won't make any impulsive decisions, but they're like, they are ready. And when the new boys come in, they're going to be totally ready to explore. They get to sleep on it. And they get to sleep on it.

Go with intent into it. I was so excited to watch. And twelve guys are coming. Twelve. Double that which I'm like that is justice. That is justice. Agree. Agree. I do feel for the girls. You get all dressed up, you're so excited for this challenge. You come down, there's a giant present. You're like, this is gonna be cool. What's it? And then they open it and it's a screen showing ridiculous. And not only showing that, but the boys' behavior is horrendous.

Like what what's your perspective? Do you think that like that's just how they should be acting? Or do you think they were doing too much? I'm not surprised. ⁓ they were definitely doing too much right off the bat. I think maybe they had like a little bit of a semblance of holding back on like the first girl and then that went literally out the window. Corbin said Kenzie's out the window. Like that is so mean. It's so mean.

They just have no and I get it. That's not what they're not supposed to be like I have a girlfriend. But Well, this is why no one likes had a closed off conversation before Casa More, because they don't know when Casa More is coming, but they know it is coming at some point. So like even Sincere call he called Melanie his girlfriend in I don't know the last episode or the episode before, once they got back together.

And I'm like, that is bold, but also stupid, I guess. Stupid. one thing about Corbin. him like going so hard in this challenge and also like saying Kenzie's out the window and like blatantly just saying that, which was very mean, hard to hear for Kenzie. But it also reminded me, like when he came in the villa, he was talking to all the girls. He literally asked everyone, Can I get a kiss? Can I get a kiss?

Yo. And Kenzie was the only one that said yes. So then they're building their connection off of it seems to be purely like sexual tension, physical chemistry. So it's not surprising. It's not surprising. No. It's like we forgot that for a second. Right. But that's what I mean too. Like it was getting stale in there. They obviously it was the right time to do this. It was ⁓ they needed this. But yeah, you forget who's a hoe because they got no one to hoe around with.

Exactly. Happy for Caleb. Happy that Caleb's getting some action. He definitely has like come alive. He did. I was gonna say he is honestly and it's like it didn't feel weird because he doesn't have anyone. Yeah, exactly. And it's again it's like also he was like the cowboy he said, I thought I told you to put your fucking legs up. I was like Yeah. You're twenty Okay. I put down K C in the very beginning of the episode it opens with him and Anaya having a conversation and he says to Anaya, You have nothing to worry about.

Right. Which like what's that supposed to mean? What's that supposed to mean? Because you also want to explore, which you're allowed to explore. I think here's what sums it up. I put a note. Casey was telling everyone else he wants to explore, but basically like tiptoeing around that conversation with Anaya, so wasn't saying that straight up to Anaya, which makes sense why Anaya was confused about it. Yeah. But he was straight up in this episode for the first time.

But also Anaya There's better people coming. So Also like I just feel like their main issue is that they're not honest about what they what their issues are. Like it seems that Casey and I are are not super like there's not a lot of physical stuff going on. That's what that's like the assumption that's made. But they're not really talking about it. Exactly. They should talk about that. Because if that's something that he really wants, then and maybe that's what he's gonna go out and find.

So yeah, you should expect him to do that. Or Anaya. What do you you just want to be with one dude this whole love island? Is that what you want? I get that he's nice, but maybe go on the bachelorette, I don't know. Agree. One thing that cracked me up is while they're watching the boys, Anaya goes, He's gonna he's gonna throw away three whole weeks of chats. No, did she say that? That's so fucking funny.

It's going he's gonna throw away the last three weeks. Yes. Yeah. Yes. That's not sorry, that's not that much to throw away. It's not that much to throw away, and that's not a surprise. That can't be a surprise. And if you're just like waiting for him to like do that, yeah, you're gonna get kicked off probably. Probably. Because that's not what you're there to do. But my have a my thought was like when the bombshells were being introduced and they were coming out and like Doing their damnedest to be on the next hustlers movie.

I was like, what a crazy way to meet somebody. Like I would just I would just like hate that. Obviously they're there to do that. So I'm assuming they've all gave their consent, but so much ass grabbing, slapping, ⁓ throwing people in the air. I was like blindfold. I was like, consent, where is she? I don't know. I'm assuming they've given it. That's what I'm saying. But like There were points where I was like, I just 'cause like the guys are making the comments to each other while they're getting danced on.

They're like, go to work. Go to work. With the fingers, I was like, get shut the fuck up. Trinity had the best ⁓ as usual, Trinity had the best lines. She said, The boys can't handle all that. Yes. Correct. He can't handle all that. Mm-mm. She said Bryce is looking scrawny and it's pissing me off. Like it's giving me the ick, which I love. Bryce that was very uncomfortable to watch. He's not a he's not a super sexual dude.

It's hard to not be really awkward. Yeah. When you're an awkward guy. So he kind of just played into it. Which I kind of respect. Which I admire. Yeah. Exactly. And then Trinity also said, Bryce showing out here showing everyone but me and then talking to the girls later. It's cute. I've never been with a white guy. Never been with a white dick before. I was laughing. I'm dead. No, that was so funny. That was the best line, honestly.

Yes. Yes. It's cute. Trinity. I would watch an entire show with just Trinity as the main character. I love her. I love her so much. But something that really, really pissed me off was Sincere's face as all the Costa girls were like walking away and he just looks dazed and confused. Sincere. Sincere, get the fuck out of here. Get just leave. Please leave. And on a different note, Melanie watching all that. That's the quietest I've ever seen, Melanie.

And then she goes, I'll show us what to do. Damn right she will. Now I'm like, yes, crazy Melanie. Release. Let's fucking go. She that's so that's Give her fucking ten. Give her fucking ten. And like a Phoenix, she will rise. Correct. Correct. They were all like old and married and now they're on their like first divorce and they're about to go crazy. Breaking free, yeah. Breaking free.
